It's a very cute place to go with friends! The foods was pretty good, however the black sugar boba was an interesting texture I wouldn't recommend. Besides that it was a good experience! We loved seeing the robot deliver meals to other customers.

I was beyond excited to try this place. It's too far from my apt to justify driving here for just this place but my new job is down the street so I guess I'll be here often. I did not enjoy the fact that I was unsure about how to be seated. Guy seemed annoyed to say "sit anywhere and use the QR code to order". That might be a lil difficult for less tech savvy individuals. Food came out by robot. The food was good yall. And very warm. You can tell it was made right there in house. Would've been nice to receive my Boba tea before my food came. Very quiet and spacious place. Not a huge place. It's located in a strip mall so it could fill very quickly. But the decor was very quirky and I loved it. I would definitely recommend coming earlier for a lunch than a dinner bc this place is good.

I have been seeing videos all over Instagram of this restaurant! I had been dying to get there and finally asked a friend to go with me. The restaurant itself is tucked in a shopping plaza, in an older building that needs a little love. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and told to pick a table. There are QR codes in every booth that you use to see the menu, place your order, and pay. I found this highly efficient, but it may be difficult for a less tech savvy person. My friend and I ordered the char shu Bao buns, shrimp shu mai, crab and pork soup dumplings, and a plate of chicken fried rice to share. That brought the bill to about $45. The menu is very user friendly with pictures and descriptions through the QR code. My favorite part about this entire adventure was that our server was a robot! Check out the video that I uploaded to this review. The robot comes directly to your table, instructs you to take off the food from whatever level of trays, and then says "it has to get back to the kitchen and bye-bye"! Not only was it cute, but you don't have to tip a robot, lol. There are a few sauces on your table, and paper plates / bowls available in case you really want to sauce the food up. I loved the soup dumplings. The flavor was great, they were perfectly cooked, and delicious. The chicken fried rice was really on point, and it made us wish that we had purchased our own plates instead of sharing. I was not a big fan of the shrimp shu mai as it was very fishy tasting. It was very off-putting. And the pork buns were absolutely divine! Perfectly seasoned, in a light and fluffy bun! I found the ladies restroom very concerning. There was a drain on the floor that was depressed about an inch and a half that I tripped on. I think it's definitely a hazard for the restaurant if an older person with a walker or cane were to enter, and I hope they take care of that soon. Overall the food was good, and I'm always excited about a kitchy thing like a robot! I definitely would go back and try some more things! If you're looking for a fun evening, give this place a shot!

I've been seeing videos about Serious Dumplings on Instagram for quite some time and finally decided to try it out! We were warmly welcomed in and seated. To access the menu and order, you scan a QR code on the same wall that displays your table number (you're also given physical menus). You can either order through the QR code or at the counter. You order and pay at the same time and then a robot brings you your food. We ordered the BBQ Pork Buns which were great. 3 really big soft and pillowy buns with a good amount of pork. The pork and chive pan fried dumplings were probably my favorite. Shang Hai soup dumplings are a classic. Not insanely hot either to the point where the soup burns your mouth. The pork and shrimp shumai were good, but couldn't really taste the pork, was more shrimp heavy. And finally the chicken fried noodle was fantastic. Good amount of chicken and veggies. With everything we ordered, plus 2 diet cokes, the total came to $64.48. Some items are definitely pricey. I really wanted the garlic green beans, but it was another $12 on top of what we had already ordered...for green beans? How's that more expensive than a dish with meat in it? Overall, I would definitely come back. It was tasty, the food comes out fresh and fast and I loved the giant ramekin of chili oil on the table.

This place is a lot of fun and serves up incredible food. They make most of the dumplings up front fresh. Their menu has a ton of great and unique options. Where else can you be served by a robot.

It's a busy place, customer keeps coming in throughout the night. Cashier is pleasant and we can also order from our phone. Food comes out in timely manner by the robot. We had the Shang Hai Soup Dumplings which actually has soup inside the dumplings! Crispy chicken has a crispy crunchy coating outside, taste pretty good. Beef noodle soup is not disappointing. Pan fried beef dumplings nice and hot and crispy serve with tasty tangy sauce. Taro boba tea is satisfying. Overall food quality is not bad.

Stepping up to Serious Dumplings in Boca Raton, I was immediately greeted by a giant mascot named Sanji, and I knew right then that this place would be unique. Not only does it pay homage to one of my favorite characters from the anime One Piece, but the promise of deliciousness was in the air. The wait was minimal, and the hostess welcomed us with such warmth, guiding us to our seats and explaining the modern twist of ordering via QR code or through her assistance - a nice touch that blends tradition with tech. Admittedly, there was a slight hiccup with the ordering process - a newbie mistake on my part for not realizing payment was upfront rather than at the meal's end. But once sorted, we were served by what I affectionately dubbed 'Franky' (or was it Bubb4?), a delightful robot server that added a quirky charm to the experience. Then came the food, and oh, what a moment that was! The aroma of soup dumplings and pork buns filled the air, pausing our conversation and demanding our full attention. The soup dumplings were a revelation, so much that I had to remind myself to savor them slowly to avoid the dreaded tongue burn. They were, without a doubt, the star of the meal, making everything else seem just a tad less extraordinary in comparison. The lychee jelly mango milk tea and passion fruit boba were refreshing companions to our feast. While the pork buns delighted and the fried shumai, though the least standout, still held its own in flavor. Not one to stop there, we dove into round two with mouthwatering chicken, beef potstickers, and adorably cute stuffed pig custard buns, each bite confirming that Serious Dumplings is a culinary gem. Serious Dumpling is a must-visit for dumpling lovers and anime fans alike. The unique ordering process, robot server, and, most importantly, the intoxicatingly delicious dumplings make for an unforgettable dining experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, with dreams of those soup dumplings dancing in my head.
